The Specification Management Summit brings together leaders across industry, technology, and research to share how a spec-first approach is changing the way companies make and bring products to market. We're excited to share details about the upcoming conference – all of which provide more context on why you should attend.
With the need to quickly respond to supply chain challenges like inflation, rising fuel costs, and growing sustainability regulations, you no longer have time to wait and see how to respond.
The time to act is now.
You have to be a changemaker at your company and use data and technology to make smarter decisions, faster – and the Specification Management Summit can prepare and inspire you to do just that.
This year, we’ll be showcasing how leading companies like Colgate and Dermalogica are using a spec-first approach and initiatives to change the way they do business. Specification Management is no longer a challenge packaging engineers are dealing with – it’s crossing departments and functions, and impacting key business outcomes.
Here’s what you can expect.
Location, Location, Location
We first hosted our User Group event in Nashville in 2019, and always knew we wanted to go back. Besides being known as the “Music City,” the city has undergone a great deal of development in recent years, including the brand-new W Hotel in Nashville, which is where this year’s conference will take place. The W’s new concept brings together industrial and modern aesthetics, which makes it the perfect space for learning, collaboration, and of course, networking.
2023 Specification Management Summit Chair
We’re thrilled to announce Brittny Ohr, Director of Product Management at Sugar Foods Corporation, as this year’s chair. I recently hosted Brittny on the Beyond the Shelf podcast, and her experience in the food industry, as well as being a Specright customer, enables her to share a unique perspective with attendees. She’ll guide our agenda, while sharing best practices and learnings from a spec-first approach that can help our entire ecosystem.
“I’m looking forward to hosting next year’s event and talking about how a spec-first approach to product development is propelling us forward and helping us move faster at Sugar Foods Corp,” Ohr said.
“I attended last year’s event and learned so much about how to implement Specright and how others are thinking about leveraging data across their supply chain for various functions. I’m excited to pay it forward and share what we’ve learned.”
Leaders Sharing the Value of a Spec-First Approach
In addition to Brittny and Sugar Foods Corp., Summit will feature speakers from across industries, including Central Garden & Pet, Dermalogica, Colgate-Palmolive, and more.
For us, it’s not just about customers sharing Specright success stories, it’s also about building and leveraging the Specification Management ecosystem.
We plan to show live demos and new features of our Specification Data Management platform, as well as host panel discussions with partners and industry influencers, like Lorax EPI, the leading provider of EPR and packaging regulation software, Gartner Research analysts, and leaders from the top academia programs, like Michigan State University.
We hope that you’ll join us in January for the Specification Management Summit, so all of us can continue to share the value of a spec-first approach and the advancements in building this ecosystem and partnerships.
