Our annual Specification Management Summit, or Spec Summit as we call it, is an opportunity to build on an ecosystem of companies coming together to collaborate and work to solve the challenging issues today's world poses - all with a spec-first approach in mind. My team has been hard at work planning and collaborating with customers and industry leaders to put on another high-value, successful event for attendees.
What to Expect at Spec Summit 2024
As supply chain complexities continue to rise, economic challenges surface and sustainability regulations expand across the globe, now more than ever, is the time to implement a spec-first approach into your business model.
In order to stay ahead of competitors, businesses must embrace change by harnessing data and tech for quick, intelligent decision making. The Specification Management Summit is here to ignite and inspire that change.
This year, industry leaders like Colgate-Palmolive, Jack in the Box, Manscaped, and Cummins will present insights about the value of a spec-first approach and the tangible impacts it has made on their companies. Specification Data Management (SDM) should be top of mind for all companies looking to ignite collaboration and build a resilient supply chain
This is a bit of what you can expect.
Why Austin?
When it came to selecting the perfect venue for the Spec Summit in 2024, I knew I wanted to head back to Austin. We held Spec Summit 2022 there, and the city strikes the right balance between being a large city without the overwhelming scale of some of the other metropolitan cities. Austin is welcoming and I know will be a pleasant experience for our attendees.
Locationally Austin is also more central to the Midwest and East Coast, being a convenient destination for our valued customers spread across these regions. Beyond logistics, Austin's vibrant live music scene and overall cool, appealing vibe promise an enriching experience, ensuring participants not only engage in meaningful discussions but also enjoy the unique charm of the city. And, for those who have attended previously, they can tell you we mix learning and networking… with fun!

“Central Garden & Pet has been on an incredible journey with Specright and I’m excited to share more about that journey with Spec Summit attendees as next year’s Event Chair. Spec Summit is also a great place to learn from others, across industries, so I’m looking forward to bringing learnings home to my team as well,” - Paul Gray
