It’s been an incredible 2022 for Specright. With two million products now on our platform globally, Specright is helping companies that make the products and packaging we use every day to do so in an efficient and sustainable way.

Ending the year with a bang, we’re incredibly excited to share that we have been recognized as a Representative Vendor in the 2022 Gartner Market Guide for Packaging and Product Specification Management

“We believe our inclusion in the Market Guide for Packaging and Product Specification Management confirms the importance of Specification Management across industries,” said Matthew Wright, founder and CEO of Specright. “This recognition comes at a pivotal time for us and has the entire team excited for what’s to come in the new year. We are continuing our mission to help people and companies make amazing, sustainable things and it’s incredible to receive this caliber of recognition in the industry.”

The need for Specification Management will only continue to grow as companies face increased regulations and reporting requirements, a potential recession, and further labor shortages. According to the report, Gartner found that, “Organizations lack the capability to effectively gather, maintain and utilize package specification data that is increasingly becoming a requirement due to sustainable packaging legislation.”

It’s important that supply chain leaders take notice of this, but more importantly, take action to help address these challenges – and Specright can help. Specright is eliminating spreadsheets, PDFs and legacy systems with our Specification Data Management™ (SDM) platform that helps companies digitize product and packaging data and collaborate with supply chain partners to reduce costs and errors, drive efficiency and rapid product development, and ultimately make things right, with the right spec, the first time. The possibilities are endless when everyone has access to this critical data.

While we’re looking forward to the new year, it’s important to look back and reflect on the strides we made this year as well. Along with the Gartner recognition, we also reached two million products managed on the Specright platform for companies like Central Garden & Pet and Maesa. Additionally, we doubled year-over-year revenue and platform user growth and were even granted a key patent for our SDM platform, solidifying us as a leader in Specification Management.

As we look ahead to 2023, next up is our Specification Management Summit, taking place in January and will bring together industry and technology leaders to discuss supply chain challenges. To learn more and to register, click here
