TUSTIN, Calif., Sept. 22, 2022Specright, the leader in Specification Management software, announced today that its platform has been selected by Maesa, a global beauty and CPG company that incubates and operates a portfolio of high growth disruptor beauty brands worldwide.

“We’re excited and proud to partner with Maesa, one of the leading beauty brands in the world, to help them take control of their specification data,” said Matthew Wright, Specright’s Founder and CEO. “Maesa and Specright share a passion for innovation and this partnership demonstrates that there is a better way to collaborate with supply chain partners using technology.”

Maesa will be using Specright’s Specification Data Management Platform to manage specification data they had historically been managing in spreadsheets, email, and sharepoint.

“The data we were using was static. We were challenged with no real-time data, which led to outdated information being shared across teams and with our manufacturers,” Scott Kestenbaum, Chief Growth Officer at Maesa said. “By leveraging real-time specification data, we can more easily communicate with our manufacturing partners and drive efficiencies across our internal teams to better serve our customers.”

Besides incubating their own beauty brands such as TPH by Taraji, Kristin Ess, Hairitage by Mindy McKnight, Flower Beauty and more, Maesa also provides private label beauty products to some of the world’s largest specialty retailers.

“Now our manufacturers will receive more accurate data and have more visibility into our products and packaging,” Kestenbaum added. “Previously, static data led to outdated information being shared, resulting in significant re-work and waste. By reducing this waste, we’ll also drive sustainability by ensuring things are made right the first time, every time.”

“Our relationship with Maesa is just beginning,” said Wright. “We look forward to partnering with them on new product development and sustainability initiatives down the road to help them spend less time chasing data and more time making amazing things.”
