There’s never been a more exciting time to be in enterprise technology, and this was clear from SAP’s TechEd event, which took place from November 15-16 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
SAP, the leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) software vendor, invited Specright to attend and speak at their TechEd conference, which promotes new innovations and products and is widely attended by the technology research and developer communities.
Bringing Enterprise Software to Business Users
The main theme this year is one that resonates a lot with us at Specright – bringing the power of enterprise software to the business user.
Juergen Mueller, SAP’s Chief Technology Officer, kicked off the event by announcing SAP Build, a low-code solution that, according to SAP “puts our world-class enterprise technology in the hands of business users.”
At Specright, we’re doing just that by arming supply chain professionals from packaging to procurement and product development with the data they need to make amazing things.
A Spec-First Approach to Data Management
Whether that means developing more sustainable products and packaging, finding ways to rationalize SKUs and save costs, or complying with emerging sustainability regulations like the UK plastics tax, Specright’s customers rely on integrations with their ERP systems, which house critical purchasing and master data, to do just that.
At TechEd, Specright’s Chief Marketing Officer Laura Foti presented how companies are leveraging a spec-first approach to data management to drive sustainability while balancing profitability.
In 2021, Specright was selected by SAP.iO, the company’s accelerator program, as part of their New York City program cohort focused on emerging technologies that address sustainability. Through the months-long program, Specright developed an integration with SAP’s ERP platform and was listed on the SAP store.
