A wise person once said, “Supporting another’s success won’t ever dampen yours.” I would also add that creating partnerships is key to the success of our customers. That’s why, for the past two months, Specright has been working closely with SAP as part of the SAP.iO program. SAP.iO is an accelerator that helps technology companies like Specright navigate, scale, and grow partnership and integration opportunities with SAP. I’m excited to share what this means for our many customers who are also SAP users.

Seamless Integration Between Specright and SAP Creates Added Value for Our Customers

Many consumer goods, retail, and industrial companies use both SAP and Specright, so the partnership is a no-brainer. In many instances, they are using SAP as their ERP or for Master Data Management. Many Specright customers have integrated Specright with their SAP systems, synchronizing data between the two software platforms to enable business outcomes. This enables companies to operate more efficiently, and provides end-users with tremendous benefits, including the ability to:

  • Eliminate data duplication and wasted time on double data entry
  • Create items in SAP, then enhance them with detailed specifications in Specright
  • Trigger workflows & notifications in Specright when SAP data updates are made
  • Utilize Specright analytics & reporting with key data transferred from SAP

The SAP.iO program has also provided us with a holistic understanding of the SAP product ecosystem, which enables us to better support companies that use various SAP products - from ERP to MDG to PLM.

We’ve also collaborated with SAP customers through the program that could benefit from Specright, and we will be featured in the SAP.iO Demo Day at the National Retail Federation’s Big Show in New York City on Tuesday, January 18th (if you’ll be there, come see Specright SVP of Marketing & Investor Relations, Laura Foti, knock it out of the park on the NRF stage).

Enhanced Sustainability Features and Functionality

With the SAP.iO program’s specific sustainability focus this year, we’ve also gained additional insight to grow Specright’s sustainability features and functionality. This fits well with our recently announced integration with Trayak’s Life Cycle Assessment tool, COMPASS.

Given the increasing importance of sustainability with our customer base, we will continue to expand our functionality tied to sustainable product development, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and enabling a comprehensive sustainability picture of your products and packaging in Specright. And if you’re interested in sustainability, take a look at our innovative SAP.iO cohort peers: Algramo, Ecocart, Everledger, Evrything, Inspectorio, and Lime Loop.

The support from the SAP.iO team has been tremendous, and we’re very grateful for that. Specifically, I’d like to thank Sallie Jian, Kange Kaneene, Praful Karanth, Carina Legl, and Nikolay Starikov for your help. We’re excited to grow the SAP partnership for years to come. You’ll soon see Specright in the SAP Store.

In the meantime, if you are an SAP customer yourself and are interested in learning more about how Specright and SAP can best work together for you, please reach out to talk with our team!
