TUSTIN, Calif., Sept. 8, 2023 – Specright, the leader in Specification Management software, today announced it will exhibit at PACK EXPO, Sept. 11-13, 2023, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
With sustainability a key theme at this year’s event, Specright will exhibit in the South Upper Hall in Booth SU-7670, showcasing its patented Specification Data Management™ platform designed to digitize product and packaging data to reduce waste and ultimately impact sustainability initiatives.
“Sustainability is a pressing topic across industries, either as part of corporate social responsibility initiatives, or more likely, in line with new and impending sustainability regulations, so it’s fantastic to see the emphasis on the topic at this year’s PACK EXPO,” said Matthew Wright, founder and CEO of Specright. “Driving sustainability progress has always been at the core of what we’re doing at Specright and we believe with greater specification data visibility, companies can really begin to make an impact on the environment and within their own organization.”
Since last year’s PACK EXPO show in Chicago, Specright has expanded its partnership with the Michigan State University (MSU) School of Packaging, been named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies for 2023, and cited as a Representative Vendor in the 2023 Gartner® Market Guide for Multienterprise Collaboration Networks.
Specright Founder & CEO on Workforce Challenges and Trending Technology
Wright will speak on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m. on the PACK EXPO Innovation Stage 1 (C-2051) in Central Hall, exploring the importance of academia in cultivating and retaining the next generation of packaging professionals and the role technology plays. Wright will also speak on Wednesday, Sept 13 at 10:30 a.m. on the PACK EXPO Innovation Stage 1 (C-2051) in Central Hall, where he will discuss the critical need for a strong data foundation before packaging operators can implement trending technology like artificial intelligence.
The Role of Specifications in Achieving Sustainability
With new regulations emerging, many companies are finding themselves without the data or appropriate reporting mechanisms in place to achieve or prove compliance. Specright is helping companies to gain that visibility with its Specification Data Management platform. The company will have the platform available for demonstration in its booth, as well as its spec-first marketplace, Specright Network, which allows suppliers and partners to share specification data.
“Data complexity challenges every company today and collaboration across the entire supply chain is crucial to building an overall resilient, sustainable and traceable supply chain for all,” said Wright. “During the PACK EXPO conference, attendees will be able to explore Specright Network, our spec-first marketplace that empowers all partners of the supply chain, from brands to vendors, with complete end-to-end traceability at the spec-level. Our vision is to one day have all specifications on Specright Network.”
Specright CMO, Laura Foti, will also be in the booth interviewing packaging professionals for the company’s Beyond the Shelf: the Product & Packaging Podcast.
