Our team is hard at work preparing for our annual Specright User Group conference, held in New Orleans January 21-23rd, 2020.
Each year, we pick a different city with unique character to host User Group. This year, the Warehouse District in New Orleans, also known as Silicon Bayou, is the perfect fit. It’s the hub of technology innovation in New Orleans and is off the beaten path for those familiar with the city.
We just announced some of the exciting sessions that we’ll cover at User Group 2020. In addition to the sessions, I wanted to reflect on three reasons why every customer or attendee evaluating Specright should join us.
1. You’ll Be in Amazing Company
We’re fortunate to partner with customers working at challenger brands to Fortune 500 companies. Attendees represent a variety of industries – food & beverage, CPG, cosmetics, medical devices, and departments – such as packaging, procurement, quality, product development and operations. This breadth of industry expertise and depth of skill sets creates amazing learning and networking opportunities.

As a company, User Group is a time for us to reflect on our product priorities and get your input. You’ll get a peek into our product roadmap and take part in brainstorming what should come to Specright next. You’ll also learn about the outcomes that Specification Data Management enables and uncover opportunities to leverage Specright in new ways and across your organization.

3. Hands-On Training and Immediate Takeaways
This User Group, we’re adding hands-on training sessions after receiving this request from past attendees and the positive input from the Thursday “Tech Chat” session last year.
75% of a 2019 User Group attendees said they would apply information they learned at Specright User Group within 1 month of having attended the conference.
Sessions will include a deep dive into Specright’s Specification Data Management platform and capabilities across departments and functions. In addition to a Specright deep dive, the customer success team will lead attendees through an in-depth training session on reporting and dashboards. Our Thursday “Tech Chat” gives you an opportunity to meet 1:1 with the Specright team, make live changes to Specright, and answer any questions you have.

In closing, the concept of User Group started as a way to bring together our community of customers and users who helped pioneer a specification-first approach to making packaging and products.
It’s a way to learn from one another and ensure we’re solving the right problems.
